Gender Equality Steering Group (GESG)

In response to equal pay investigations, the University initially established the Gender Representation Review Group (GRRG) to consider findings and make recommendations for further action. GRRG's work was taken forward by the University's Gender Equality Group (GEG) which has now been replaced by the Gender Equality Steering Group (GESG).

GESG's remit is to oversee the University's gender priorities as part of its overall strategy and progress equality, inclusion and wellbeing. GESG reports to the University's ED&I Committee.

GESG is chaired by the Gender Equality Champions, Dr Liz Hide and Professor Sarah Colvin.
