Support for Athena SWAN
- This flyer has been widely distributed across the University and outlines the Athena SWAN process and the support available from the E&D Team.
Athena SWAN Forum
The Athena SWAN Forum is chaired by Professor Martin Millett and is held biannually. It brings together members of the University who are working on Athena SWAN. The Network helps to co-ordinate and disseminate information, best practice and resources.
Termly Athena SWAN Network events
An informal forum focusing on specific topics and issues regarding gender equality.
Athena SWAN Surgeries
Informal Athena SWAN Surgeries take place monthly throughout the year where E&D team members will be on hand to help solve common problems and answer queries. See events page for dates.
Internal Assessment Panels
‘Mock panels’ are held at each submission round to provide an informed in-house assessment of progress towards a successful submission. The panel reports on outcomes to the chair of the Athena SWAN Forum, for formal University endorsement.
The IDEAS Project draws together best practice and examples of gender equality initiatives from across all University Departments.
