Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

National Inclusion Week is coming up, and the University of Cambridge Disabled Staff Network in collaboration with Cranfield University Disability Network would like to invite you to an online event that’s taking place next week. Two of our committee members are among the panel speakers and it would be great to have lots of Cambridge members attending! Details below:

Settling in Within Higher Education: Panel discussion with disabled staff and students – everyone welcome

To coincide with National Inclusion Week 2022 (26 September – 2 October) and the beginning of the new academic year, Cranfield University Disability Network and the University of Cambridge Disabled Staff Network are organising a panel discussion and Q&A session on the topic of settling in within higher education. What helps disabled staff and university students settle in and feel included? What does inclusion mean to students and staff members with a disability or long-term condition? What can universities do to make the experience of disabled staff and students better?
